In 2022, the scourge of Chemical Submission reached alarming heights in France. In fact, almost 2,000 complaints and calls were recorded by the Paris Addictovigilance Center (AP-HP), a sharp increase on the 700 cases in 2021.
Faced with this troubling escalation, Tanguy, founder of Capote2Verre, has witnessed this growing threat first-hand. After the Covid-19 pandemic, when parties, bars and other festive venues reopened, the increase in incidents of chemical submission prompted him to take action.
